A convention was signed Saturday, between the Chair UNESCO-Water, women and decision-making power of Côte d'Ivoire and CI-Excelsior for its program Excelle, for the promotion of the girl, through the valorization of these skills and its empowerment.
"The Compendium of Women's Competences of Côte d'Ivoire (COCOFCI) has a proven track record with women senior executives, rural women and women in the diaspora. It was time to move into the second phase, to these future girls leaders who are in high schools, colleges and universities, to train, accompany and coach them. It is in this sense that we have signed this partnership to be able to support these girls, "said COCOFCI program coordinator, Yao Euphrasie, during the signing of the agreement in Cocody.
According to Ms. Yao, this is to bring part of this Compendium program to credible structures that can help them in their actions.
"Through this partnership, we will go to schools. We are going to find mentors for the best classes because we need leaders to pull others and the compendium will capitalize on all these girls, "she added.
For the initiator of Excelle, Pascale Guéi-Ecaré, through this convention, her program will be a breeding ground for women who will become tomorrow's skills.
Excelle is an activity of CI-Excelsior, which aims to instil in young girls the practice of excellence to enable them to develop their leadership.
